So after last class, I decided to take a step back and do some research. I found myself drawn to graphics from the Bauhaus, Futurism, and De Stijl movements. I'm going to continue with the CD cover project, so hopefully this swipe will provide some inspiration.
Hey, great swipe, have you looked at Jan Tschichold's stuff? I think you might find it helpful in your process. are you still planning to use John Mayer as your artist? I'm thinking you'll need someone more hardcore to wwll with this color blocking technique of Bauhaus/Futurusm/De Stijl... or just make up a band or an artist...
