These alternatives are a little more subtle/softer than my previous designs. I think they work better with the music, but they still use some of the blockier sans-serif fonts I've been looking at.

So after last class, I decided to take a step back and do some research. I found myself drawn to graphics from the Bauhaus, Futurism, and De Stijl movements. I'm going to continue with the CD cover project, so hopefully this swipe will provide some inspiration.
